WAREHOUSING AND DISTRIBUTION

The logistics centre based at Auckland International Airport was completed in late 2008 and has an internal area of 9212sqm with an outside canopy of 1548sqm allowing for the dry unpack of multiple containers.

The MAF approved facility has a high stud with racking to carry 2.2 tonne per beam. All handling equipment is electric and the warhouse and perimeter boast the latest monitored security measures coupled with extensive pest control systems. The warehouse has a frequent scheduled cleaning routine and is kept in a near dust free state.

e-SERVICES

Hobbs Global Logistics provide access to systems that allow our customers to have control and visibility of their supply chain at all times. Products can be tracked and ordered on-line using Hobbs Global On-Trac web based management suite.

A customised portal is provided for clients which allows them to have complete access to view their shipments within our information driven import/export management system and to have visibilty and control of their inventory within the warehouse.

Inventory balances,ordering and order status are on-line as standardised and customised reports.All pick orders and service requests can be made on-line. Entry to this system requires the use of log-in details and passwords and has the latest encryption standards to ensure security.

Hobbs Global also offers the ability to data transfer with customers via standardised or customised interfaces thus reducing substantial administration effort.
