Changes to Discharge Ports – Earthquake.

Late last week Maersk Line issued an advisory notice stating that Wellington bound cargo on the next five sailings would be discharged at Nelson and Tauranga. U.S East Coast Strike Action

As predicted the USEC labour unions are gearing up to strike on December 30th. Negotiations on a new contract between the International Longshoremen’s Association and employers represented by the U.S. Maritime Alliance (USMX) broke off abruptly yesterday afternoon.
