U.S East Coast Strike Action
As predicted the USEC labour unions are gearing up to strike on December 30th. Negotiations on a new contract between the International Longshoremen’s Association and employers represented by the U.S. Maritime Alliance (USMX) broke off abruptly yesterday afternoon.
