If you are sending shipments to China and claiming NZ-China FTA preference, it is very important that the the shipments are moved on airlines flying DIRECT to China.
Chinese Customs are being very difficult if shipments are moved via 3rd countries ( ie SQ via SIN, TG via BKK, KE via ICN etc) and in some cases are NOT allowing goods to be entered under the FTA.
As a result, flights are limited – using Air NZ/NZ direct flights to Shanghai or China Southern / CZ direct to Guangzhou, then connecting onto domestic CZ flights to final destination.
