After a long period of relatively low freight rates on the Asia to New Zealand trade, shipping company Hamburg Sud as announced they will implement a Rate Restoration, with effect 7th January 2016 :
USD 350 per 20ft container
USD 700 per 40ft container
The Rate Restoration is applicable for all shipments with Bill of Lading date from 7th January 2016 onwards.
